Vi har flera olika nivåer av crawl och medley samt bröstsim för nybörjare. Du kan vara med om du vill utveckla teknik och vattenvana eller om du bara vill ha riktigt trevligt träningssällskap med instruktörer som ger dig utmanade träningspass varje tillfälle. Alla våra simkurser är för vuxna över 18.
Våra simkurser för vuxna är en del av SSIF Small Group. Våra grupper består av max 8 deltagare på bana och varje termin är indelad i två perioder à 8 tillfällen, så möjlighet finns att i ett senare skede även anmäla sig för att simma andra halvan av terminen. Inträde till badet (under träningen) ingår i anmälningsavgiften. Alla våra träningar hålls på GIH-badet på torsdagar.
Simning och Covid-19
The Swimming Association has verified that chlorinated water effectively kills viruses, but in order to safely keep possible contagion spread we have also removed the break between the passports so that we minimize meetings, we have fewer participants in the pool and we encourage our members to do as much as possible in order at home and respect distance between participants. Of course, you stay home if you feel ill!
- Level 1
Nybörjarkurs för dig som vill lära sig simma från grunden. Våra erfarna instruktörer lär dig att bli bekväm i vattnet och guidar dig mot att kunna simma helt på egen hand. Vi börjar i träningsbassängen och tar oss sakta vidare mot djupare vatten.
- Steg 2 (ingen kurs schemalagd just nu, maila gärna för intresseanmälan)
The goal is that you as a participant should receive a continued introduction to breaststroke and the basics of the technology. We will go through leg kicks, arms, breathing, water position and increase body control in the water. At the end of the course, the goal is that the participants who participated in most training sessions should be able to swim 100 meters breaststroke consecutively.

- Level 1
Swimming pool for those who have never crawled before or who have only tried to crawl a few times. The goal is for you as a participant to get an introduction to crawl and learn the basics of the technique. We will go through leg kick, armrest, breathing, water position and increase body control in water. At the end of the course, the goal is that the participants who participated in most of the training sessions will be able to crawl 25 m without stopping.

- Level 2
The goal is that you as a participant will get a continued introduction to the crawl and the basics of the technique. We will go through bone parks, armrests, breathing, water mode and increase body control in the water. At the end of the course, the goal is that the participants who have participated in most of the training sessions should be able to crawl 100 meters continuously.
Crawl 25 m. Behöver ingen bassängkant för att känna dig trygg under längderna.
- Level 3
In this group you, as a participant, get a deeper understanding of the technique in crawl and get the chance to hone the technique, learn how to do it, improve fitness and thus be able to swim longer. The focus is on being able to swim longer distances. At the end of the course, the goal is that the participants who have participated in most of the training sessions be able to crawl 200 meters without stopping and being able to do a turnaround.
Crawl 100 m outside rest
- Level 4
The advanced group is mainly distance training for those who want to train both fitness and technique. The level is adapted to enable you to train for participation in, for example, multi-sports competitions. At the end of the course, the goal is that the participants who participated in most of the training sessions should be able to crawl 1000 meters per workout.
Prerequisites: Hurricane swim 200 meters crawl with full turn.
- Level 1
Varied technology, arm, leg and swimming training. A course for those who can crawl, but who feel that it would be fun to even master the other types of swimming a little better. The group is adapted both for those who have never tried to swim butterfly silk and you who have already tried to swim butterfly silk to some extent. At the end of the course, the goal is that the participants who have participated in most training sessions should be able to swim 15 meters of butterfly glue.
Prerequisites: be able to swim 200 meters breaststroke and 200 meters crawl.
- Level 2
Courses for those who think you can do all kinds of swimming, but may want to get the technology a little better for swimming better, better looking, longer and with good self-confidence. The pass is focused on improving competence and increasing distance in all swimming modes. This means that you also practice turns.
Prerequisites: 300 meters breaststroke, 300 meters crawl, 100 meters backstroke and 15 meters butterfly glue
- Level 3
Advanced exercise training. Groups for those who have been in the pool for a long time, maybe competed swimming earlier and aiming for some long distance race ahead. Instructor-led training with passports that challenge fitness, stamina, technology and strength. Each pass is about 1500-2000 m swimming, depending on the swimmer's own ability.
Prerequisites: 400 meters breaststroke, 400 meters crawl, 100 meters backstroke and 50 meters butterfly glue.
