Become a Member and Book Your Training Card or Course
Would you like to start your training journey with SSIF? To begin training with us, you need to purchase a training card or sports course along with our mandatory membership fee of 50 SEK per operating year (July to June). The membership can be added during the purchase process when buying your chosen training card or course, or it can be purchased separately here. The membership fee is mandatory as SSIF is a non-profit association where all income is reinvested into the business. Level-Divided Training: How to Progress and Access Higher Levels
At SSIF, some of our most popular sports and group fitness classes are divided into different difficulty levels, ensuring everyone can train at their own pace and develop – whether they’re beginners or advanced athletes. As a training card holder, you automatically have access to the beginner level of our level-divided classes and cannot book higher-level sessions by default. Progressing to a higher level is managed by our skilled instructors, who are on-site to support your development and assess your readiness. If you’re interested in advancing to a higher level in a specific sport, here’s how it works:
- Speak with the Instructor: Attend a beginner-level session and ask the instructor for guidance on which level might be suitable for you.
- Trial Training: If a higher level seems appropriate, the instructor will schedule a trial training session to assess your skills and ensure you meet the requirements of the desired level.
- Access Approval: If you qualify, access to the higher level will be granted within a few business days, allowing you to book sessions at that level.
Extensive prior experience: For those with extensive prior experience who believe they should advance several levels, please email [email protected] with a brief description of your background, the sport, and the level you’d like to join. Our office will review your request and guide you accordingly.
Continuing Members: If you were granted access to a higher level during the previous term and plan to continue training with us, don’t forget to contact the office at [email protected] to request that your access be extended.
Level-Divided Training – Note on Small Group Courses
Small group courses are also divided into levels; however, participants can choose the level they feel is most suitable for them. Detailed level descriptions can be found under “courses” in the main menu. If you have any questions or need guidance, feel free to contact the office at [email protected].
If space allows, it’s possible to switch to a different level during the course if you find you’ve chosen the wrong one.
Our goal is to help you grow and succeed in your training journey, no matter your starting point!
