Beach volleyball
Beach volleyball is one of SSIF’s exciting seasonal sports, offered as a small group course that emphasizes focused attention and personalized coaching during the summer period. By booking the courses you secure your spot for 5 consecutive sessions, held at the same time and day each week, with the same group and instructor. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to enhance your skills, this course provides a fantastic opportunity to improve your game, with a focus on technique, match play, and building confidence on the sand.
We offer two levels – beginner and intermediate – allowing you to progress at your own pace. Our courses deliver an engaging and personalized experience, providing ample opportunities for feedback and skill development.
All course sessions are held outdoors at Gärdets Sportfält, where you can enjoy the sun and sand while you play. Each group meets for 5 sessions, with each session lasting 90 minutes. Please wear comfortable, flexible clothing that allows for movement, and be prepared to play barefoot. Our courses are co-ed, welcoming participants of all genders, and are open to adults aged 18 and older.
Beginners:
This group is suitable for people who are new to, or only have limited experience playing beach volleyball. Get started and learn how to play in the sand the right way!
Intermediate:
This group requires more experience and will keep a higher pace than the beginner group. You should have tried beach volleyball before and have experience in keeping the game going.
SSIF offers beach volleyball courses during certain periods of the year, as the courts are outdoors and subject to seasonal availability. When courses are open for registration, you’ll find them listed here. While pre-registration isn’t available, we recommend following our Instagram account, “ssif.nu” for the quickest updates on when course bookings open. Beach volleyball courses are distinct from SSIF’s ALL IN training cards.
