From the autumn of 2021, swimming is a separate course.

At the request of many members, swimming made a comeback as a sport in Stockholms Studenters IF in the autumn of 2016. With us, you as an adult can practice swimming at Eriksdalbadet in Stockholm. The training is conducted in the fresh swimming pool where we also have access to the adjacent gym for dry training. We have trainings that suit both you who are a curious beginner and you who are an advanced acrobat.

Practice diving at Eriksdalsbadet in Stockholm. The training is for you who are over 18 years old.

Here you will learn the necessary basics for the advanced exercises of the later steps. We practice jumping technique, foot jump and fall, the difference between straight, grouped and cock, and learn to handle the lower heights and trampoline.

Each training session consists of about 30 minutes of initial dry training and then about 60 minutes of jumping in the pool. Dry training consists of various gymnastic exercises and jumps that strengthen your muscles so that you can perform technically correct jumps in the water. For safety reasons, participating in the sessions requires previous experience of swimming. See info under ”level” to find info on what the different levels mean.

The sessions are usually mixed with both men and women. Our training is aimed at adults, whether they are students or not, but everyone over the age of 18 is welcome and university students have a discount. We do not conduct any competition activities.
