2.2 Reasons for Suspension
SSIF is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive training environment for all. Behaviors such as aggression, discrimination, threats toward members or staff, theft, or doping are strictly prohibited and may result in suspension. A suspension encompasses both membership and participation in training activities organized by the association.
3. Prices and Payment
The price for each product and service is stated in Swedish kronor (SEK) excluding VAT. Since we are an association, all our products and services are exempt from VAT. We do not handle cash, and all purchases are made digitally via our website. At checkout, the total final price, including all fees, is displayed.
3.1 Payment
Payment is made digitally through the chosen payment method at checkout. We accept Swish and card payments. Card payments are provided by Bambora in collaboration with its partners. If the Member does not pay by the due date, regardless of the payment method, a collection notice with a new due date will be issued. In the event of late payment, SSIF may demand compensation for costs and interest in accordance with the Debt Collection Act (inkassolagen), the Interest Act (räntelagen), and other applicable legislation.
3.2 Card Payment
Card payments are accepted via Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro. Your card will be charged immediately at the time of purchase or, for subscriptions paid monthly, on the 1st of each month during the subscription period.
3.3 Student Discount
If you purchase a product or service with a student discount, you are required, upon request, to present valid student identification or other proof that confirms your student status.
3.4 Prepaid Training Cards
Prepaid training cards (semester cards, monthly cards) must be paid in advance via Swish or card payment. These cards are valid for a predetermined period and terminate automatically without a notice period. Prepaid cards are non-refundable. Returns are handled in accordance with the Distance Selling Act (distansköpslagen).
3.5 Ongoing subscription with monthly payments
The training fee for the subscription is paid monthly in advance. The charges are made at the beginning of each month, on the 1st. The agreement is valid until further notice, but at least for the duration of the binding period specified in the subscription, and until the agreement is terminated by either party. The notice period is one (1) month, and the termination takes effect at the end of the following month. Any discounts will automatically be adjusted to the applicable price list after the agreed contract period. If no contract period is agreed upon, price adjustments will take place no earlier than after a 6-month period. When you purchase your membership, you pay the membership fee for the current year and the first training period until the first monthly charge. A member may freeze their subscription a maximum of 2 times, for a total of up to 45 days during a 12-month period.
4. Delivery of Services
We deliver memberships and products digitally. The membership is confirmed via the email address you provided at the time of payment. As a member, you are responsible for updating your account if your contact information changes. Schedule changes occur throughout the year. During major holidays and the summer, we operate with a special schedule, and we are closed during the Christmas holidays. Occasionally, we may also need to temporarily cancel sessions for maintenance and renovation. Such changes to the offerings do not entitle you to file a complaint or request a refund. SSIF cannot always guarantee available spots in training activities or similar, where the number of participants or availability is limited.
5. Right of Withdrawal and Open Purchase
As a customer, you have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of making the purchase. The right of withdrawal can only be exercised if the training card has never been used for booking or participating in a session. For all purchases on the website, SSIF follows the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act , (Distans- och hemförsäljningslagen (2005:59)). To utilize the possibility of a refund – contact us at [email protected]. Please provide your personal identification number and specify which service is involved.
In accordance with the Distance and Doorstep Selling Act (Distans- och hemförsäljningslagen), you have the right to cancel your purchase of a training card within 14 days of the purchase date. However, you cannot cancel the purchase of a training card if you have started using the service. The use of a training card is considered to have begun when you log in and book a training session that the training card grants access to. In certain situations, you have the option to freeze your training card, thus extending its validity for a maximum of 12 months. Freezing can be done with a medical certificate. See Section 6 for more details.
If you no longer wish to be a member of SSIF, you can request to cancel your membership by emailing your name and personal identification number to [email protected]. Membership in SSIF is considered to have started as soon as payment is made, and the membership fee therefore cannot be refunded.
5.3 Right of Withdrawal for Course Purchases (Small Group Training)
For cancellations of courses (Small Group Training) that fall outside the right of withdrawal under the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (Distans- och hemförsäljningslagen), SSIF applies the following cancellation rules:
- For cancellations made more than 14 days before the course start date, the customer will receive a full refund.
- For cancellations made 14 days or fewer before the course start date, no refund will be provided.
5.4 Canceled Course
Up until the announced start date, we reserve the right to cancel a course (Small Group Training). If this happens, the customer will be notified in writing and will receive a full refund.
5.5 Refund Obligation
If you exercise your right of withdrawal, we will refund the agreed amount as soon as possible, or no later than 30 days from the day we received the cancellation. See also the Distance and Doorstep Sales Act (Distans- och hemförsäljningslagen (2005:59)).
Training cards can be frozen for up to 12 months in the case of illness, accident, or pregnancy. The illness/accident/pregnancy must be verified with a doctor’s certificate that clearly states that it is not possible to carry out the activity. Membership fees are not refundable. For courses, in the event of illness, accident, or pregnancy supported by a doctor’s certificate, which prevents the customer from continuing to use the purchased service during its term, SSIF may deviate from the above-mentioned cancellation and refund conditions. In such cases, SSIF will refund an amount corresponding to the portion of the service remaining, calculated from the date the doctor’s certificate was issued.
